Hi everyone... a question!!
I am claiming back £1600 from Lloyds for my girlfriends parents. Its been going on for months and months (at least 4 I think).
I wrote a couple of letters and final demands to Lloyds and after they failed to respond to both letters I contacted the FO.
2 days after sending the claim to the FO Lloyds have sent a letter saying they are paying £750 straight into their account as final settlement.
We dont want this as final settlement and the FO have already contacted about thier account!
What should I do now... Do I tell Lloyds thank you but no... or say we will only accept as partial payment... If we accept as partial payment will that ruin our chances of getting a better pay out??
I could do with advice on how to proceed please peeps!
Ta in advance!

Write to them and tell them you accept the payment as part payment to your claim and you are persuing the claim for the rest of the money owed to you by means of the FO. No it won't ruin your chances of getting all that is owed to you, it's your money and you're more than entitled to the whole amount
Good luck
