Tax credits overpayment

Hi, received a notification of overpayment due today amounting to neatly £12k from year end 09 and 10. I am already on a debt management plan for a credit card debt, will I be able to add this to it ? I did dispute back when it happened but they wouldn't budge. They basically paid us as if no income coming into house, but I have never advised that I am out of work as I never have been. Just OH was out of work at the time. Since 2010 I think they have been stopping some money towards it out of my credits. But main question is will HMRC accept repayment via Debt Management Plan company (Kensington Finance)

I'm going to call them this morning so would appreciate a little advise. I am contemplating disputing it again on the grounds that I never said I was unemployed and I did not realise that I had they had put my hubby down as receiving the benefit that is not job seekers allowance (the one where you declare all of your outgoings) which is the truth

Surely it would have said CLEARLY on your award notice that you were UNEMPLOYED and so receiving maximum Tax Credits.

The award notices are quite clear - mine said how many kids I was claiming for, how many hours I was working and what I was being paid. Did you not notice the discrepancy on the award?

If it said you were unemployed but you weren't, you should have been putting the money aside because it's not yours and you'll end up paying it back!
