Hampton Court Flower show-best way to get there?

We are going to Hampton Court garden festival in July and as we live in Cumbria have decided to drive to High Wycombe and stay in a hotel overnight.
Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to get to Hampton Court from High Wycombe? I initially thought get the train but hubby says Hampton Court is not easy to get to by train. He is thinking of driving but would this mean sat in traffic queues on Saturday morning on the M25?
Any guidance gratefully received.

M40,M25,A30,A308 did it last Wed 1:00pm took <45mins
Friday 11th
HW
Devere uplands is £29
Devere Denham grove a bit further on is £69 for the Friday night
nearer to Hampton court is the devere sunningdale also £29 but further to get to another 30-40mins0 -
It's easy enough to get to by train - in to Marylebone, tube to Waterloo, train to Hampton Court - but it is time consuming. Don't expect to get any change out of 2 hours.0

I live in the area of the M25/A3/A320 and have one family member who commutes weekly via High Wycombe and another along the A308!
They think getmore4less time was exceptionally good but it was lunchtime on a Wednesday. The M25 should be OK on a Saturday morning but the A308 will be very busy with queues as it is the main route into Kingston the major shopping destination on a Saturday.
Buses in the area are good and go to Hampton Court from Kingston Richmond Sunbury and Heathrow amongst other places so if you haven't yet booked your hotel perhaps you could reconsider.0 -
we went 2 years ago...and the trains to Hampton Court are not brilliant but they do put extras on for the show. If you can get to Surbiton (say from Waterloo) the connection to HC is fine.
Roads and parking will be a nightmare.
If you have not already booked accom I would probably suggest something south London rather than north- somewhere like Hilton Cobham which is close to M25 and probably a taxi to HCt.0 -
I have taken a boat from Richmond which stops at the main entrance to the Show. It takes a while but we had afternoon tickets and it was a really pleasant journey on a sunny day.:hello: N:hello:A :hello:N :hello:A :hello:M :hello:A :hello:G :hello:S :hello:0

Just discovered I've won some tickets to RHS Hampton Court. Has anyone tried the Victoria Line-Clapham Junction route to HC? According to NRE it should work out at 2h 12m rather than 2h 27 m via Vauxhall.Free thinker.:cool:0

we went a few years ago and went really early in the morning
and then got very good on site parking (which we had to pay for)
then I unpacked our picnic breakfast of smoked salmon wraps, bucks fizz etc .......... feeling very swish until the cars either side of us unpacked their little stoves and cooked bacon sarnies!
traffic was a nightmare leaving ........... hey ho0 -
Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to park in Bushy Park for the Hampton Court Flower Show. I have searched the web but doesn't seem to be a single mention of this being an option so I am guessing there is a good reason why not but was just curious as would be great if it is possible. Thanks.0
