Hi i have just appealed yet again against overpayments and had 4000k wiped out but i have kept them informed and told them repetedly several times a year that same info is wrong yet they do nothing about it
and now they are saying that i should of put the money that is wrong to one side to pay them back £3000 they want from 2003 to now!
is it my fault they dont take notice on what i tell them any ideals and is any one else got the same problems with these people?

The thing about overpayments though, is that if you know the moneys wrong then you shouldnt spend it, I would advise sticking it in a high interest account and then keeping the interest when its claimed back from you0

I really don't understand why people post on this forum using such awful grammar and expect people to be able to understand them and help them."Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."0

Unfortunately Niall24 that's the way the system works. You will not win any appeal because they will always say you knew the details/payments were wrong and yet still kept the money and used it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. And quite right too. This is tax payers money not some anonymous Governments. I do not expect money to be taken from me and just given away to someone with no right to it.0
