Hi all,
Dumb question time:rotfl::rotfl:.
Why when I do a search on my Kindle do I get Google Ireland results?????? This never used to happen (all searches used to come up with uk websites at the beginning and now they show ie.) I've googled it and can't find an easily understandable answer. I've also looked on Google to see if I can change to UK settings but can't see an option. I've obviously done something but don't know what.....
Not a major problem, more of a nuisance but I would like to sort it!!
An help greatly appreciated.

Who is your internet provider? Our work WiFi gives us German Google results because our server is over there0

Internet provider is BT, my other Kindle doesn't do this so that's why I think I might have done something inadvertently.0

Is your homepage set to google.uk or google.ie?No free lunch, and no free laptop

My Kindle Fire HD has just started doing this, I have checked every device setting I can think of and it's all fine.
I am sure glad to know it's not just me!0 -
I have just started to notice this, too.
No idea why it's happening so afraid I can't suggest a solution, but would be delighted to hear if you managed to address it...0 -
This issue, which still occurs with my original kindle fire, can only be resolved by going to the kindle fires options menu, then clicking applications, then clicking all applications, then clicking browser in that dropdpwn menu, then clicking clear cache, then clicking clear data.
This will erase all your history, your web preferences, passwords, cookies, bookmarks...all that web browser-related stuff. You'll even have to relog into facebook. This will return your web browser to its original state.0
