Hound is 2½ yo and has been fed on http://about.royalcanin.co.uk/catalogue/breed-health-nutrition/miniature-schnauzer-adult23628/

He has been scratching a bit so oh tried him on a different product, no scratching, back to his usual and scratching returns.

Recommendations?

Royal Canin is one of those foods I feel has a premium price, but isn't necessarily of premium quality. I think you could get better for your money - and something that suits your dog better too

Burns is very good quality and contains no nasties. I feed my newest boy on Wellington as it what the rescue centre had him on and it seems to agree with him, beautifully shiny coat. Also cheaper than Burns.

If the dog is itching first thing is try is a completely brain free diet. Not always the answer but a massive amount of skin issues are due to grain.

My two are raw fed. One still has skin issues but that's because he's allergic to pretty much everything.
