host file in french

Running widows 7. I was hoping to edit the host file and after much searching finally got an answer on the MS forums and it seems I was not the only one having difficulty locating the file. Any way having found it, only to find it is in french. My question, is this the norm.

Mines in English but it would still work the same way if you need to add a manual entry?

hosts file is can be found at c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (even on a 64bit system)
