No emails from ebay after bidding ?

Placed a bid on an item yesterday evening, and just realised that I haven't had a confirmation email.
Just to see what would happen, I placed a low bid on a different item this morning, and again - no email.
Checked my account settings - everything looks fine - email address correct.
Not getting search results either but not so concerned about that and I see other people also missing these.
Anyone else having problems ?
ps I've checked Spam folder and they're not going there either

I've never had emails after bidding, only when I win.. is it a setting I presume?0

Clicked for my change password emails at 3.30 this morning when you'd assume that ebay.uk was quiet. I'm still waiting for them. Their server farms must be flat out with no time/capacity for "unessential" things..0

Yes it's a setting that you can choose.
Not so worried about those going missing, but don't know what other emails from ebay may have disappeared - though just got an 'Outbid' one, so maybe they're sorting it.0
