Just recently all my inbox mail is going directly to junk mail. I have not changed my settings. I have gone into options but there doesn't appear to be a category that applies. I am at a loss to know what to do now and it is a nuisance the way it is now performing.
Help - how can I change this so that it filters and goes into the correct folders as far as possible.
Many thanks.

Check your junk emai filtering in Options for Windows Live Mail first.
Set it to Standard filtering if it is not already set.
Guide here http://email.about.com/od/windowslivehotmailtips/qt/Set_the_Windows_Live_Hotmail_Junk_Mail_Filter_to_Standard.htm
If it is not that - It could be your internet security with built in spam filtering.
Check if you do - turn it off.
If its Hotmail account - it could message / junk rules. Log in to your account via a web browser and check settings for messages rules - which are under Options for Hotmail.0
