Been looking at some garden furniture for a week and thought I would wait till the weekend 1; to see if they are on display to get a better look and 2; 15% off everything weekend happy days!!!
On Friday one item was £179.99 and the other was £199.99. Today they are £249.99 and £299.99 respectively.
With 15% off still more expensive!! No doubt they will go back down after the event??
Don't be fooled thinking you are getting money off in the event. They shouldn't be allowed to do this.

Had this a couple months ago with a bed on offer. Was £179 reduced from £250. Again was a 15% weekend and waited as offer stated was applicable to sale items - but the price went back up again to £250 when 15% offer started. I called customer services and they agreed to honour the sale price as they said it shouldn't have happened (yeah...right......). Only snag was I had to pay the full price online and then they refunded the difference back to my card which took 3 days.
On the same note I was wanting to buy a Dyson and looked at Argos (who own Homebase). They had a Dyson on at £369 with a free £70 Argos gift card. The next day they had the same Dyson on for £299 without the gift card.0 -

When they stated that it shouldn't have happened, what they meant was that you shouldn't have noticed that the price had increased at the beginning of the 15% weekend!0 -
LOL, I love stuff like this because it just shows what mugs we're taken to be...
I was in a supermarket (can't remember which, possibly Morrisons) a little while back and they were selling Napolina chopped tomatoes for £1 or they had a special offer on where you could get 3 tins for £4 LOL
I actually wanted 3 tins but refused to pay an extra quid so I went for a cheaper (but not as nice IMO) brand.

Isnt it a better buy at £299 without the gift card, or is that your point0 -

Or you could have just bought 3 tins for £30 -

seems odd it would scan at £4 if they are £1 each , didn't think it would add money like that0

I don't know why I just got other tins, I hate self service though...

Its odd that it added a £1 on but ocourse it would have been easy to pay for 2 and then another 1 in a diff transaction, of course it shouldnt have been necersarry0 -
In sainsburys yesterday with my son, I asked my son why has coka cola reduced from 2l bottle to 1.75l and remained the same price ?? Both did not have answer, But going on from this sainsburys had a massive create of coke with the offer splashed every where buy two for £3 um i though. Walk to the soft drink area and guess what hidden away bottom shelf was a four pack 1.75l for £4. Crafty selling tactics.0
