    Morning all,

Molly, ok I'm going to say it. I'm concerned that your Mum is putting on you when your own health is so fragile. She needs company but she's depending on you for it rather than her husband. Please be aware that your not Superwoman! The one thing my Mother would have loved was to move in with me but that was never going to happen. Her demands got more and more until I snapped. I really hope that your Mum settles into this new bungalow and she agrees to have more contact with your Dad as they both need eachother. I suppose I'm just repeating what you already know though and I don't have any answers... sorry.

My news, well 'Youngest' went out last night and got hammered again. Those of you who are my Friend on Facebook will have noticed my status this morning. He was out on the lash the night before but last night I don't know how he got home. Hubby was watching telly downstairs I was on my pc upstairs and he did his usual thing of plonking himself on the floor beside me to talk. How he managed to hold up beats me. He was going on about how his 'friends' had 'looked after his phone' and sent random trouble making texts to people on his behalf because they thought it was funny and how he was now going to have to repair the damage.... Then he started on about the ex.... the stuff I'd heard the day before but he wanted to tell me again. Then his ex rang as she'd received a text off his phone and he tried to explain it wasn't from him but decided to tell her what he thought of her anyway..... Well this morning he's mortified. Not mortified at what he said to her, he stands by that but he's mortified at how angry and aggressive he felt. So, we've had words this morning. Things that he'd heard before from me about the dangers of drink/drugs. He knew these things of course but now experienced himself. I'm hoping he's learned his lesson and he's glad his phone is in one piece as I heard it get chucked across the room more than once.

His Dad kept out of it. He's got a low tolerance of 'idiots' so I dealt with him myself to save the peace.

Right onward with the day ahead. Ive had my bath, need to get dressed and make myself look presentable. Shopping today in the rain. Oh what joy!

Onwards and forwards (with a brolly of course)
    have a great day all.

    :hello:
Damp day here and no sign of it lifting all weekend, typical bank holiday weather I guess.
Time ended up flying by yesterday after doing the office paperwork, picked my grandad a paper up and took it across and had an hour 1/2 with him also had a little shop around when I picked his paper up and purchased a white blazer that I have been looking at for months - O/S side is that it's classically cut so SHOULD (i'm hoping) last me a long long time as it is also a well made blazer.
I have had a quick catch up from yesterday & then obviously read today :)
Molly - glad the exchange has been made, I hope that your mum then settles once she gets in there. I am also glad to hear that your dad is settled at the home for now, that is good news :) It's the best place for him, at least for the time being. Fingers crossed for you that over the next couple of weeks everything starts picking up more. Sending hugs!!
Judi - Sounds a chaotic evening at your house!! I think a lot of us go through the stage of the getting drunk and different bits, hopefully he has learned his lesson (I am sure he will have a sore head to show for it today)!

I have just 3 more wages to do at the office then back home for lunch. Big list of cleaning/sorting to do today, although I did do the kitchen whilst tea was cooking last night; but still have the bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and hoovering, mopping and the ever growing pile of ironing to do  Some music on and hopefully I will whizz around. I would like to sort through my shoes & sell any that I no longer use - this might not go well I may just 'tidy' them as I love my shoes :D:o

Not sure what is for tea tonight, will have a route through the fridge and see what I have.

    Enjoy your Saturday everyone.
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

LW - I would love to see Ted too x
I'll be taking some pics of him over the weekend; I have a lovely new camera (late birthday present - my birthday was in April, but I took a "raincheck" til I could identify something I needed, and now my old camera isn't working correctly so Mr LW bought me a new one) so I'll get some nice 20 megapixel shots of him :D and try and remember to post one on the Daily.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
