I did ask for a review and it came back the same offer of 22.000 and the only was I could review again was go to court but I don't have confidence todo that so I accepted... But I feel iv been given the wrong amount totally.... Any advice and what d you think I should have got from it all ? I'm sorry but I don't think anyone is going to be able to tell you whether you have been awarded the wrong amount.

One thing I can suggest is that if you have house insurance you check to see whether you have paid for legal help.

The only other thing I can think of is using a No Win No Fee Solicitor.

This is a specialised area, sorry.

Have you been in touch with Victim Support, they can give advice/assistance with CICA claims?

    https://www.victimsupport.org.uk/

£22,000 is at the upper end of awards for sexual abuse and includes an element for mental/physical damage as well but you need proper advice from someone with access to all the papers.
