It certainly is my mum had loads of stuff that was for best and never got used.

Trouble is I am like my mum, I am hoping when I get my new kitchen eventually, hopefully next year once outside work is done. I hope that I will be able to open up all the new stuff I have stashed and throw out the old. But I am doubtful. :o

EDIT: just wanted to add a lady should always have best knickers. ;)

You never know when you might get run over:eek:

A family favourite of ours was when my sister's kids were little. We were all sat in the garden on a lovely summer's afternoon. Sis was talking about she'd been to the dentist, and the dentist knew whether she was left-handed or right-handed from her teeth (how she brushed them, different for left-handers and right-handers). I said it was the same for men shaving, stubble longer on one side of the face etc. My niece (about six) thought all this over, and then said:
    "What about your moustache, mummy?"

This has just reminded me of when I was young and my parents and uncle and aunt were talking about things they didn't like.

I piped up that I didn't like it when I had a bath if I found hairs stuck to the soap. :o I never did understand until I was much older why everyone went bit quiet and didn't agree with me. :rotfl:

In my innocence it never occurred to me that they would have come anywhere other than from someone's head.
