I've not played the brand-match game (supermatch game, supermatch game...:rotfl:) but I did play the 'Nectar points off fuel' game earlier. I always fill up with an exact amount of litres - I suspect many people fill up with a specific amounts of exact pounds and do not think that Nectar points are based on litres rather than the amount spent.
It does seem that, since I started filling up with much less on each time, the offers I've been getting have been a tiny bit better. I decided to fill up with a couple of litres less than what I did before. And got a double points off fuel coupon. I was originally going to get the rest at Morries, as Sains and Morries are both the same cheapest price at the moment for me. I'm not bothering with the Morries miles thing anymore though (- and yes I know they've just offered further points for swiping the card) as it seems very rare that they have been the cheapest for me over the general part of the last few years. I've not even got anywhere near to getting the fiver off - and the problem :rotfl:is because I spend so little!
Anyway, with the double Nectar coupon - way hey, a few pence:( - I went straight back to the pump and filled up with a little more (always keeping any individual transaction to under £10) - lol:rotfl: they probably round up to the nearest 0.01 litre above what I'm getting on each separate one and thus I'm probably losing the equivalent of a penny each time anyway - and then got another double points off fuel coupon!:rotfl:
Finally, after six separate lower-value transactions over a few days, the tank is now nearly full. I think I'm getting fuel on too many separate occasions and need to wait a few weeks now until they'll give me any more coupons:rotfl:;):rotfl::rotfl:.0 -
