Unfortunately its just a matter of making it too hard for them and somebody else then becomes an easier target as they are still going to rob.
Unless of course you did get a crocodile :TWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -

......he's naughty! :eek:
Oh I have just had a conversation with my new house guest. It would seem that he hasn't had much in the way of boundaries for quite some timeand was rather shocked to learn that bedtime is 9.30pm for children in the FC household on a school night. He was even more shocked to learn that FC does a gadget sweep at an unannounced time sometime after that
:rotfl::rotfl:
.......and I thought DS2 could argue the toss? :eek: I still won thoughHe's agreed to go to bed at the same time as everyone else and promised he won't stay up gadgetting all night, and is aware of the penalties if he does. Could be fun.......:cool:
Fairclaire I just want to tell you I think you're an amazing mum and a lovely person. Your post reminded me of a similar situation 6 years ago when I got together with OH. My DS2 was similar age to your new family member, had had very little discipline, similar to myself growing up so I didn't know how to discipline childrenOH began to lay down groundrules which DS2 didn't like so eventually he left to live with his father because he just wanted the easy life
I'm not telling you this because I think the same will happen with you but because I feel that if I could have been more like you I wouldn't have lost contact with both my children. I'm sure you will be firm but fair and your new boy will quickly settle in and be part of the familyWishing you all the best :A:A
