I went to a general auction today and now know where you take things that aren't fit for the skip lol.
I did have my on a beswick figure but noticed it was chipped.
Where do they get all the really cheap junk from, surely people don't take a broken lawnmower to them and ask them to sell it for £2?
I go to these auctions regularly. Some stuff is customer returns and overstock from Costco and other retailers, some has been seized by bailiffs and some is just junk sold by the general public. The one I go to has a vendor number on the sticker so it's easy to spot the Costco stuff which I like to look forPeople will sell broken stuff but if they're found out to be knowingly selling broken stuff and not being truthful about it they get banned from selling. The one I go to is pretty honest most of the time but I've been to others that are completely unscrupulous.

M & S Red wine £3.29 a bottle including delivery if you buy 12. Good reviews, seems was one of their meal deal wines so some of you may have already tried it.

I did add some sale clothes to take advantage of having to pay the delivery charge. Unfortunately wine is excluded from free delivery over £50.

I think some of this stuff comes from house clearances. It's just the junk left in the back of garages and cupboards, although often they sell a box of stuff with the good bits mixed in with the tat.:rotfl:0 -

Evening all
So Ive collected my c&c from t's with my boxes of tissues. How do I claim the cb on clicksnap. Does it just go through automatically. I did start my t shopping from clicksnap yesterday but the tissues didnt transfer to t's as some on here stated yesterday so had to add them back into my shop.

Feel a bit ashamed of myself for going over my £3 bottle limit.
But I was starting to get twitchy as some of the bottles we have left are nice expensive ones from the Ts mystery box. And I didn't really want Mr TS opening them without a good reason.0 -

Really looking forward to visting castles and Hay on Wye, but does anyone have any other local recommendations for things to do, special shops to look out for, local delicacies, nice restaurants and pubs? We are taking the car, and don't mind a little drive. I have heard about wild swimming in the Wye at a few places..any particularly good? Any suggestions welcome! Thanks!
If you're into history, try Kilpeck Church, about fifteen miles to the north of Monmouth. Arguably the best medieval church in the country, with a remarkable collection of 12th-century carvings, including this charming dog and rabbit
Got a book on wild swimming, somewhere(!), will try and find it and report back.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
