Yes, all good here thanks Bubbs. I have some news though. I have a new addition to my household. Our nearly 15 year old godson who has arrived today to stay with us.

I won't go into all the ins and outs, I'll just say that he wasn't receiving the care and support at home that he ought to have been :(. Hes very recently been diagnosed with Aspergers.
I know people will think Im bonkers taking on another kid with all Ive had going on :o But, it's not a decision I took lightly or without the views of everyone else who lives here. Quite honestly, the alternative to him coming here was unthinkable :(

As kids go, he's pleasant, polite and well behaved......but quite withdrawn. He gets on well enough with my kids and they are happy for him to be here. I have enough room here for him to have his own space, which is important to him. And one more mouth to feed won't bankrupt us.

The most heartbreaking thing is that my friend (I'm using that term loosely :() his mother offered no resistance to the idea of him living here :(:(. I have no idea how it's going to pan out or for how long it will be. I would like to hope that at some point one of his parents will give themselves a shake and be in a position to look after him the way he deserves.

Other than that nuffin going on here  :rotfl::rotfl:

    That confirms it.

    You are indeed Superwoman!

Seriously, though I hope it all works out sounds like he's in the best place he can be at the moment though :A:A

Yuk just put full fat milk into my tea. Never buy the stuff but it was whoopsied.

    I must stop buying whoopsies I don't like:rotfl:

You should start taking it black like me. ;)

I still can't resist a whoopsied pint though, full fat on my cereal. :o Thinking about it that's probably why I still have loads of cereal left from various glitches, I always wait for whoopised milk.

It never ceases to amaze me how folks that have really been through lifes grinder are the first to help others in need - but people who have everything handed to them on a plate couldn't give a monkeys cuss about anyone else.

FC deserves a medal - and i'm sure her family all appreciate her value.

Sorry I've not been around until now to answer questions that have been asked about the Kleenex.

    1. I don't know if the double discount works instore, but would have thought so. However, you would not be able to use the £5 off £20 instore as that is only available for orders placed online. So the best you could expect would be buy 2 twinpacks for £2 and then get £1 back from Quidco Clicksnap, whereas ordering online they are working out free.

    2. I chose to accept substitutions on the basis that a) loads of other Kleenex tissues are also on Quidco Clicksnap, and b) I didn't want to lose the £5 off code.
