    Mum used to think the ball had to be kicked over the net like in rugby :D

    I admit that I know the ball goes in the net!

    But after fantasising about Robbie Williams for years, when I saw him running on a football pitch.... that was the end of the fantasies!

    A successful Morries shop, and I also "won" on my T shop earlier.
    Items vs T compared as expected including the SP Unsmoked Bacon, the 320g Apricots (with T's saying "Juicy" I thought it may be a minor risk) and ...750g Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes:D:D:j. I also bought 6 pack of McCoys Classic Variety (vs T £1) as 40p on TCB "snap & save" - I need to work out what that works out at with weight adjustment compared to previous higher weight packs making them more expensive.

    8 items on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Morrisons

    +£2.41CheaperSignBlue.gif
    0.17 x ASDA Bananas by Weight per kg£0.12£0.11
    1 x ASDA Fresh Tastes Diced Carrot & Swede (500g)£0.50£0.54
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Raspberry Swiss Roll£0.25£0.25
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Breaded Chicken Burger (8 per pack...£0.97£0.97
    1 x Linda McCartney Frozen Vegetarian Sausages (6 per ...£2.00£1.00
    1 x Bin Buddy Citrus Kitchen Bin Freshener (550g)£2.48£1.24
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Fish Fingers (10 per pack - 250g)£0.60£0.60
    1 x ASDA Satsumas (650g)£1.00£0.80
    Comparison total£7.92£5.51

    I made a penny or thereabouts on the Carrot/Swede as I chose to opt in to 10% cheaper than Morries price. At last, the Bin Buddy works - and the McCart Sausages (yes, member of the family scoffed the last ones way too quickly:() continue to work - though they really should be on 2 for £3:( (unhappy that they are not and have no trig. opp. available).

    One of my wombles also "won" - vs Sains - but only because of the 10% - nothing special on there. By "win" I mean more than a few pence, although perhaps not several pounds, and this was despite the shopper trying their best to thwart me:

    10 x Felix As Good as it Looks Tuna in Jelly - Pouch (1...£4.00£4.50
    They bought 26:eek: of these single pouches, glad only 10 compared.
    26 pouches for £10.40 - now, why not?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::D:wall::rotfl::eek::(

    Remember not being happy about the £1 soft drinks bottles today. I noticed other items whilst I was in A that seem set to mess up our wombles:( - the Belvitas back on £1:( and also Heinz Spaghetti/Sausages on horrid, nasty 75p price:(:(:(:mad:. They may be 'good'/okay items to buy if killing an APG but otherwise people are set to buy them in the wrong store again - should be bought in T or S I feel! (Although the Spag/Saus. at 75p is not as good price as W's 3 for 2 offer. The APG won't compare against that offer: but it will (outside of Northern Ireland of course) compare to W, more expensively, if only two cans are bought and if they don't buy anything else that is in W's mix and match:(.)

    The 6 pack McCoys (6x30g) are about 53 and a third pence for a multipack, after APG and TCB (or nearly 9p:eek: a bag - sort of 'okay' I suppose), based on price being adjusted to reflect the short change of 2g a bag compared to previous weight.

    :eek: I think these were 6x35g before that - making the pack 58.33333...p:eek::eek: or 9.72222...p (nearly 10p:eek:_pale_, that's very dear, a bag):eek:.

    We need these price comparisons and cashback just to try to make them a decent price:eek:.

    I guess I need not make it clear, but if anyone does feel possessed to buy (no more than 10 of) those Felix pouches, they are to be bought in S or in T. On vs A shopping.
