You don't need any money on the sim, just download the app, put the number of the new sim into the app welcome screen. They will then send you a text with an activation code. You put this code into the app to activate it. Then, the app (usually) remains activated even when you put your normal, non-02 sim back into the phone :)

Prices on cereals seem to be creeping up (over time).
I've noticed the 625g Sugar Puffs (filler vs A or S) are back at £1.62 in T (about 25.9p/100g). They were £1.25, if I recall, on offers about a year ago (or my 20p/100g baseline). The Frosted Shreddies 500g are now £1.24 for T (24.8p:eek:/100g) as opposed to £1.00 prices for 500g cereals (20p/100g) seen some time ago.

My price-per-unit working will see them taken out of my range, regardless of what happens to their offer prices still being 'half' price by having gone up to even more in the interim than they did before. And it'll also account for any weight reductions in packs in the future should any been implemented.

I'm considering however whether to raise the 20p/100g base price as becoming a little unrealistic:eek:. _pale__pale_How could I do that and let their price increases alter my perceptions of what price something 'should' be?

Keeping steadfastly at 20p/100g at the moment (itself way expensive compared to SP versions etc. on some products or glitches) but :(allowing myself to be influenced by their price drags upwards over time:(:(.

Before I forget - msm user-unfriendly to this user nowadays - Quorn Mince 500g S £2.75 vs T £1.24. Needs to be, somehow, added to Svs T list.

    Hi folks!
How are those cotton buds comparing vs M, please and thanks?:)

Are we getting any mbuy glitches with a Mr A price changeover - I'm trying to catch up (going backwards in time on the thread) - are the 'Take a Break' items still on 2 for £2? Says £1.09 on msm.

Cotton buds are N/A. Here's the whole Morries comparison as some of the other items are comparing well :)

    1 x ASDA British Semi Skimmed Milk 4 Pints (2.27L) £1.00 £1.39
    2 x ASDA French Brandy VSOP (1L) £33.00 N/A
    1 x Heinz Sticky Barbecue Sauce (500g) £1.98 £1.00
    1 x Covonia Double Impact Cough Lozenges - Berry Blast... £1.27 N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Take a Break Mint Wafer Biscuit... £1.09 N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Take a Break Orange Milk Chocol... £1.09 N/A
    1 x ASDA Little Angels Cotton Wool Buds (200) £0.35 N/A
    1 x ASDA Cherry Tomatoes (350g) £1.00 £0.95
    1 x ASDA Strawberries (700g) £2.50 N/A
    1 x Kenco Millicano Wholebean Instant (100g) £3.98 £1.99

Savvy I was wondering, do you always like to see the Morries comparison, just items that compare well or everything not on your list? I'm happy to post the Morries comparison every time or just the bits you need if you like? :)

Edit: I forgot to say there is no longer any multibuy on the Take a Break. It used to be 3 for £2.50 and included the own brand caramel bars I often buy but the offer stopped about 3 weeks ago.

    McVities Jaffa cakes 36 - S vs T. (But I think T own brand cheaper in T?)
    Bertolli Original or Light 500g - in 2s Avs T (1.90 bogo'f')
    Stork 500g Avs S £1.00

    Honey Cheerios 565g - T £1.59 (28.1p/100g_pale_)

    But...
    Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes (750g) Avs T £1.57:D:j:j:j.

    CRUNCHY NUT PRICE ALERT!!

Right, that's it - I'm leaving my Avs T shopping off until tomorrow as need to wait for T's new price to get into the APG first. No point:money:doing an 8 item shop now, only to have to spend more money doing another 8 item shop tomorrow (vs T again) in order to pick up the Crunchy Nut.

(I know - there was a glitch recently, may still be around, on the 500g version making them about £1. But didn't seem worth it that much to me as having to buy additional items to get that fairly 'normal' level of price.)

Wash the leaves and put them on a plate between two bits of kitchen roll. Nuke for one min at a time until the leaves are brittle. Job done. Mine took between 3-5 minutes but I cant remember which one took how long :o

    Good shout, thanks!

thanks shall do some later, am going to freeze to but my freezer is in the outside laundry and in the winter it will be easier to have some herbs in the house.
