Ppi - bank rang me

Hi all, after my mum had some success claiming back on her PPI i decided to give it a whirl and wrote to every single bank I've ever had dealings with! I didn't include any account numbers as i didn't have them. A few wrote bank saying i wasn't miss old it, several wrote back asking for my marriage certificate (which i can't be arsed with) and MBNA wrote back today asking me to give them more time to look into my (numerous) accounts.

Then this evening Halifax rang and her opening sentence was "I am ringing about the letter you sent with regards to the PPI policy you were sold in august 2000". I had not sent back the application she sent to me to complete and she said they only have limited time to deal with matters so got me to answer questions over the phone.

I am now wondering if this means I will get something back from them?? any ideas??

What reason did you give for being mis-sold PPI?

Did you not notice the PPI amount on each CC statement when there was a balance on the card?

If you have a genuine reason why are you not bothered in sending your marriage certificate ?

It seems that you have made speculative claims you may be lucky with one or two but as they state there are time limits .

Fill in the forms they sent you thats a positive step .

No I didn't notice. I was 19 and it was my first credit card. Because my marriage certificate is in Spanish and I can't be bothered with all the messing around to get it translated. And sorry but why is having a long term medical condition 'speculative'??? I find that a tad rude! There's nothing speculative at all, if they want proof then I have it. Thank you anyway, someone has PM'd me a good response
