Greenthumb?

We have a 280sqm lawn. It is not in a good state. Lots of weed, moss, bald patches, not good!
Quote @ £1.95 per sqm, so £546 for a lawn regeneration. This is aeration, scarification and then re-seeding. I reckon if I DIY this, materials and tool hire isn't going to be too far off this, maybe £400.
Does anyone have experience of GreenThumb? Any good? Any success in haggling?

I have Greenthumb treatments 4 times a year and I have been very pleased with the results. However, I haven't had the extensive treatment it would appear you require. I don't think they will drop the price but it is always worth a try.0

When we moved we had some of our lawns scarified by Greenthumb due to the bad moss, you need to check who is disposing of the moss. It was worth it and we have been here 7 years now, after this winter with all the rain there are parts that are mossy again and so I suggested to husband we should use our electric scarifier on the front lawn which is large in comparison to most people's. It took for ever as the machine just couldn't cope. I started off enthusiastic but only one way up and I had to keep emptying the collector.
We do have them twice a year now for feed and weed treatment and because we don't cut our lawn too short although we cut at least once a week we have managed to keep the lawn in good shape.
Maybe see it as one off investment, pick their brains about lawn cutting etc, our neighbour's lawn is more moss and weeds than grass because he cuts it so short but his flowerbeds are amazing - it is whatever floats your boat.0
