the bank have made me an offer of £1000 less than what i wanted,i have heard you can accept this as part payment and pursue for the rest. how do i do this

Hi,
You write back to the bank and tell you you are accepting this payment as part payment without prejudice to your claim and you will be persuing the claim via the court or the ombudsman (whichever you choose) for the remainder of the money owed to you.
