First Post and something cool!

Heyyy...

So this is my first post on MSE and wanted to say hello and about a recent experience I had with Barclay card!

So just recently paid my card off after paying the minimum every month for what seems ages. Rang up to cancel the card and they gave the usual rubbish about staying with them.

In the end, I put my foot down and said no. They came out with the line of saying due to you being a loyal customer we'll give you 0% on purchase for 24 months and we will credit you £50.

I obviously said yes at this point, asked them to transfer it direct to my current account and they obliged. Will go and cancel next month with no obligations.

Thought I'd share :) :rotfl:

Thanks,
