These days there more interested in selling products customers don't want or generally don't need, rather than helping them with their problems.

That's weird. I've no interest in selling you anything.
  • I am just a pensioner not a terrorist or money laundering expert all that goes into my account is my Pensions, my income is small, I have been with the natwest for a considerable time, I have now retired to the philippines so September 2014 they blocked my account without notifying me of the reason making things very difficult as I am on a fixed income only nothing else, my complaint replies from them are always 'off the shelf' letters which mean they can't be bothered to read my correspondence to them, I have just written to the chairman with little hope of success, I cannot get legal advice as my money is frozen, it is now over 3months my account has been blocked, which for a pensioner is a disaster. Nobody believes me that a bank can behave like this, especially the friends who have helped me out, is there anything i can do I have complained to the Financial Ombudsman they refuse to help, maybe they have confused me with someone else's account,

In this case they can close the account and with a proper notice, not block it without any notice.
  • Is the account frozen or just the card not working especially as you are now abroad?
Did you tell Nat West you were moving?
