Couple of questions about useless landlord
Comments
-
He is being an !!!!!! about things because he knows I want to move out as he is failing at being a landlord and I have 7 months left so Im basically trying to annoy him as much as I can so he will throw me out.
Tbh, it sounds like your being an a hole as well... Lol.
If you don't want to be there and if he doesn't want you there, with the landlords cooperation you could offer to find another tenant for him and ensure he has no loss of earnings by covering any cost of finding a new tenant and covering any void period then you get to move out earlier rather than later."talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0 -

That is what citizens advice advised me to do. I wouldn't have a problem looking for another tenant for him but he has told me on numerous occasions he has relisted it with a letting agent but when I ask the letting agent he has no idea about it
I am due to go see a court advisor on Wednesday about claiming 3x my deposit back for my deposit not being safe guarded which I'm entitled to do. I might contact him before then and ask him one last time if he wants to settle it outside of court as I assume he won't want the hassle or want to lose anymore money0 -

Put an advert on gum tree its free and should do the trick, he could be doing it already but letting agents arent exactly on the ball.
Yes if the landlord has not put your deposit you are entitled to do that.
Hopefully the landlord will realize he has made a mistake and help resolve your problem."talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0
