Best way to spend abroad?

Hi, I wonder if someone could help me as I'm struggling to understand the best way to pay abroad. I have a Lloyds Debit card, a Tesco credit card (recent one, so still with the 0% APR) and a FairFx card.

I'm planning on travelling to Amman soon but trying to understand which would be the best to pay for my rented holiday apartment with. I understand that FairFx would be the ideal one, but I've seen some bad reviews where people say this card was not accepted - so I'm a little wary of relying on it.

So if I were to choose between the Tesco credit (which I pay in full each month) or the debit card, which would be the best? Or would I be best just taking money in hand - although I'd be worried about carrying so much money on me.

It's too close to my holiday to apply for the Halifax Clarity card unfortunately, so I don't have that option either. I also wonder whether the 0% APR on my Tesco Credit card would apply to abroad purchases?

This is my first holiday so finding it a little hard to understand the best option, any help would greatly be appreciated.

Using the MSE guide in the link below, there appears to be little difference in spending with either of the cards you mention. I have never used the FairFX card so can't comment.

Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.

Tesco's seems to be a tiny fraction better than Lloyds, but neither are really any good for spending abroad. Tescos will also charge interest on cash withdrawals even if you repay in full.

I've used FairFx in New Zealand in the past without problems, but can't speak for Amman. If you're worried about acceptance in shops etc, you could always use it to withdraw cash at ATMs as you go, although I think they do charge an extra £1 for withdrawals.
