Passport call back service DONT bother noservice

If anyone is chasing the passport service and you are given the option of a call back service please save your phone bill as this service is not available and you get cut off. Even after i complained a few weeks ago this service is still an option. Poor service passport office

    I had a similar experience. I was given the option for a call back and then told that out of hours, call terminated. I called back didn't choose the callback and got the same. Repeat several times until I finally tried another option. After being on hold for twenty minutes finally spoke to someone. I wasn't over the moon with the wait but at least I got to speak to someone.

    I made a complaint and got:

    "Thank you for your email of 15/05/2014 about the customer service received from Her Majesty’s Passport Office.

    We note that you were unable to contact us or our call centre partners, Teleperformance (TP). Unfortunately due to peak demand and increased volumes of calls experienced by both TP and ourselves, we have been unable to meet 100 percent of agreed service levels during this peak period.

    We value all feedback and your comments have been passed to the relevant department.

    We are currently monitoring the situation and are investigating ways to improve the service we provide.

    Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused as a result of this matter."

    Don't you just love it when your e-mails are half read.

    A tip if the weather is scorching and it is the weekend you have a good chance of getting straight through.
