Hi all
The house we're moving into was owned by a graffiti artist, his work is incredible, but the dining room wall has a piece of his art on the wall. There is a 2ft border at the top and bottom, because of the amount of paint he's used there's a 2-3 mm ridge of paint which would be obvious once covered up, SO, would you:
a] sand the edges back and paint over it
b] sand the edges back and wallpaper it
c] skim/plaster the wall and then paint/paper it
d] any other thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Or maybe leave it and "Frame" it somehow where it is if it's that nice !! .....0

+1 for if you like it, "frame" it.
If you don't, then whomever specialises in relocating Banksy artworks/someone else with the requisite knowhow may be able to advise on how to get the artwork into a more portable & saleable form.
Only take power tools to it if you can't find a buyer.0 -
Any chance you could post a pic of this? Would love to see!0

Plaster it. Quicker, cheaper and easier than the other options.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

If you really don't want to see it, but appreciate it as a possible future item of interest, then put a stud wall in front of it.0

I should've phrased it differently, his work is incredible, but I don't want it anywhere in our new house

I think plaster or a stud wall will be the better option, thank you

I would remove that link - it tracks back to your Facebook page and therefore lets everyone know your identity. Try this for an anonymous link.0

I like it - but would not want it in my house.0

stud wall is out because of the door frame so you down to either decorating or skim0
