More (((hugs))) for you Molly. In as far as anyone could have your set of cirucmstances under control, you have, and that's as much as anyone can do. I'm in awe of how much you're doing for your parents.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning,

Thanks for the cake Tru! Think we all seem to be needing that atm.

Bed changed and washing on the line. DH and I are off to the caravan this afternoon having decided to give DS2 another chance to not have loads of people round whilst we aren't here. I believe he has learnt his lesson. He keeps going on about getting a moped and is doing my head in!!! Looking forward to a couple of days without having to deal with it1

Molly - Fingers crossed for the move and I totally understand your feelings regarding smashing the fireplace!

Hope you all manage to have a good weekend x

Molly you rant away, mate; I'm told it's cathartic to let it all out, or put it down in writing (not something I've ever really got to grips with - I tend to bottle things up and disappear into hiding when it all gets too much). Major posi-vibes for the move.

My little pal Ted is due to arrive at 17:30 today, for a 5-night stay; the back lawn could really do to be cut beforehand, but my wrists are screaming agony today - and the weather's decidedly iffy - so I don't think it's going to get done, somehow. Oh well, he's a tough little Border Terrier, so I think he'll cope with a bit of untidy grass.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all,

Keep meaning to say, if I'm not friends with you on facebook, please pm me. I think I'm friends with most people on here but it doesn't take a lot to confuse me lol.
    Molly big hugs love
    TTFTM how's your DD doing?
LW Ted sounds a cutie , I'm sure he won't care about the lawn

I'm just back from food shopping. I'm usually an Aldi girl but had £12 of vouchers for Mr T's plus some money off coupons. I went round with a very careful list and my calculator and managed to do our weekly shop for just over £50. I usually spend around £80 in Aldi so very pleased. Let's see how it lasts through the week.
I'm on school duty this afternoon and it's a good 35 mins there and back.
I've had weetabix this morning and a jacket potato for lunch. Tea will be steak and salad which we usually have on Friday. I've stopped drinking wine lately and really don't miss it. I wasn't a big drinker anyway but wine always leaves me with a headache the day after. I've been having a martini and lemonade in a tall glass just on Fridays as a treat. That does me fine. I could give up alcohol tomorrow, crisps would be more of a problem:eek:
My youngest had his media exam this morning. Thinks it went ok, fingers crossed. He is working for an hour this afternoon, the old folk need someone to set up chairs for a concert. He loves his job and they seem to really like him, thank goodness.
Very wet here all day, hope we see the sunshine over the weekend.
    Have a good evening xx

Love, hugs and posivibes to all who need them at the moment-seems a lot of us.

Molly,at least the move will be over with by the end of next week and thats one worry gone. The vendors are miserable beggars, what do they think you'll do to an empty house

DGD has erupted in chickenpox this morning-she was fine last night while here but kissed her baby half brother bye bye which gives his Mummy a problem as she is staying with her parents and her Dad is in the middle of cancer treatment and has a weakened immune system.DGS may not get it but I think they'll need to check at the hospital.

Enjoy Ted LW.I 'm off to take Lyla out shortly but I think it's raining again-still it makes her coat nice and silky :D
Still grappling with forms from the solicitors for both sale & purchase  of houses. We also had an unexpected expense :eek:yesterday as DH van blew up ( well not literally but the turbo went and it couldnt be driven further or the engine was at risk) Had to get a breakdown recovery to take it to the garage so we are now almost £600 lighter

Right theres a break in the clouds so gonna risk the walk.Take care everyone x
PS. OS- getting to the bottom of the freezer, using bicarb & vinegar to clean the washer and that's it,sorry!

All very quiet here as the mad dog has been collected , the peace won't last long as I'm collecting DGD is a sec for gym club, I've told her she's to stay in her own home tonight as her dog has missed her, she can stay one day over half term, so can all the others one at time.
    Have a good evening everyone.

Molly rant away all you want, it helps to get it out of your system, many of us have done it in the past.
The vendors of the bungalow are being deliberately obtuse, especially given that the bungalow is vacant
    (((Hugs)))

Rosy  Chicken pox can be really nasty in babies, I think it has a 14-16 day incubation, so you need to keep an eye on him for the next couple of weeks xx

    Hilly ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))

Raining on and off all day here, so the washing is on the airers.

One of our neighbours had a tree taken down today and gave us lots of logs :j DH and DS will have to chop them small enough for the woodburner and they will need to season for winter 2015/16 but it all helps.

Dinner is chicken kiev, wedges and corn on the cob tonight, norty but nice ;)

    BFN x

    Evening everyone
All fine at Casa DG. Think you had all better have my share of cake, as life is good, and my waistline certainly doesn't need it.

Just listed what we had available for tea, fish, chicken, salad etc., what did DH want Beans & Egg on Toast.

Weather still glorious out here, met some friends for a coffee this p.m. and was out at a quiz last night, did OK, somewhere in the middle. Think I will brave the market in the morning. Must also start Mount Ironmore :o Think I need to have less clothes out here, then I would have to tackle it sooner.

Molly, Hilly, TTFTM, Judi, Islandmaid, Candlelight, LW, and anyone else I forgot ((((((hugs)))))), Spoons & Positive Vibes.

    Take care everyone, DG

    Again my heart-felt thanks xxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
