The seller online has asked me if I would like to replace faultyitem or get a refund

I said I wanted a refund and asked what how to do it.

No response, shall I just make a case through paypal? They need to tell me where to send it, right?

I get a feeling they are going to be difficult

Have you checked you emails, checked through Spam/junk ones too? They may have sent an authorisation through to return it.

Otherwise send an email, stating that as agreed, you wish to go ahead with a refund and ask for return details to send the faulty product back, send it with a read receipt attached, so at least you know they have opened it.

They may just be busy, or deal with returns on a certain day

I made a case on Paypal because I had 45 days from the order placed to report a problem. I again, asked for a return address.

Hopefully I am doing this right?

It's sad really, it's a great product and I would have asked for a replacement if they weren't so dodgy.
