After various emails sent to a buyer in Belgium, he has finally responded that he doesn't use PayPal and wants to pay via NR, IBAN or BIC. Does anyone know what these are and what they entale?

It's a bank transfer. IBAN etc are bank account codes that he needs from you to make the transfer. You would need to ask your bank what yours are and pass them onto him to make the transfer.
You have the choice of either providing them to him and letting him pay this way if you want, or if you didn't list bank transfer as an accepted payment method in your auction listing then you just explain this politely to him and insist that he pays by one of your accepted methods. If he won't, then file a non-paying bidder report for failure to meet your terms and condition, leave apropriate feedback and move on.something missing0 -
I agree with nsrjo1 - don't let buyers tell YOU how they are willing to pay.
Email them with clear, final instructions and give a deadline of a few more days to pay with one of your chosen methods.0 -
bank transfer is safe and you dont loose money to Praypal.
Make sure he ticks option to pay all fees.0 -
Thanks for the above but I forgot to say that this guy has had a few emails from me and he finally responded after receiving NPB from ebay. So, now I know what they are, he can pay MY WAY and not his! otherwise negative feedback!0

Bloody right. Don't let buyers dicate how they want to pay. If they can't pay by your accepted methods, they shouldn't bid.Rockee wrote:Thanks for the above but I forgot to say that this guy has had a few emails from me and he finally responded after receiving NPB from ebay.
