Car parking fines drp

I parked in a B&M shop car park pre Christmas. I exceeded their 90 minute notice. Just before Christmas I received a penalty notice from G24Ltd. Rightly or wrongly I wrote to them as an OAP and offered my reasons for over stay and sent them a £25 cheque as a gesture of goodwill.
Since then I have received three letters , two from DRP, saying that if I do not pay £125 by yesterday! @we will pass your file to the creditor's solicitors with a rec. to commence court action against you. A judgement could seriously affect future credit. If the case goes to court there will be additional costs. To see a selection of court judgements go to our website".
I am very worried what should I do?
Thank you PJ:(:(

Oh no! DR+ huffing and puffing again. Right. If you were to end up in court as a result of this it would be a first for G24 they simply do not "do" court although like many other private parking companies they claim to do so. I think that's called an idle threat.
Did G24 cash your cheque or was it returned? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

Thank you.
Yes, my £25 cheque was banked.
They sent a receipt but did not acknowledge my letter.
Received a further notification a few weeks later and have since received 2 demands from debt recovery plus acting on behalf of the creditor g24.0 -
Absolutely stop worrying. G24 are a pathetic bunch of cowboys. You now have two choices :
1. Ignore all that rubbish letters they and their equally vile debt collectors send you.
2. Email them with the following :
Dear G24,
Re PCN Ref xxxxxx, Registration xxxxxx
It is the drivers assertion that the £25 you have already received more than covers any perceived loss. So the driver and registered keeper reject any demand for further monies.
You can keep sending your letters as can DR+ but no further correspondence will be entered into. It is only your own money that you will be wasting.
This is the final correspondence on the matter you will receive.

With respect you need to be far more assertive when you write to them. Something more along the lines of:G24

Dear Sirs
Re: PCN No. XZXZXZXZ
I refer to the above notice issued on <date>.
On <date> I wrote to you concerning the matter enclosing a cheque for £25 by way of full and final settlement of the matter. I can confirm that the cheque was cashed by you.
Whilst you took the time and effort to send me a receipt for the settlement offered you did not respond further. However, you continue to harass me by making written demands for payment.
Having made an unequivocal offer of settlement to you and enclosed a cheque in fulfilment of that offer your cashing of it will be deemed acceptance of the offer by performance. You should therefore regard yourselves as being on notice.
If you do not withdraw your entirely unwarranted demands and cease making any further forthwith (and this includes any made by your agents Debt Recovery Plus), then I must warn you that I may instigate proceedings against you, and if necessary Debt Recovery Plus. Further, I may do so without further recourse to you.
Yours faithfully
