It has been raining on and off all morning, which reminds me I must go and close the greenhouse window.
Shopping this morning at Aldi got most of what I needed. Just need to pick up a few bits from the market on Saturday and that is that until next week
Then we went to vote in the EU elections and dragged DS out of his pit of doom to vote as well so that is done. DD is voting when she gets home from work.
I am a great believer in using your vote, if you don't vote you can't moan about politics iykwim.
Dinner is Aldi Bratwurst Sausage with salad and wedges

I agree - as soon as Mr LW gets home from work, he'll haul the wheelchair out of the car and we'll trundle up to our local polling station. Hope the rain's stopped by then!:oButterfly_Brain wrote: »Then we went to vote in the EU elections and dragged DS out of his pit of doom to vote as well so that is done. Mushroom risotto for dins - I can partially prepare it and put it on "hold" til we've been to vote.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Thank you all so much, you are very kind.
I try always to be positive, but I never take anything for granted either. I am just three and a half years into my journey, so a little way to go yet, but onwards and upwards.
Much love

Back again, after a fairly rotten time at the dentist - I have odd nerves and am known as the lady who doesn't go numb so I have to have overkill on the injections, I was finally numb from my right ear to half way round my jaw on the left!
I'm supposed to go to a meeting this afternoon to discuss the Good neighbour scheme but I'll see how I feel.
The theatre was brilliant yesterday but a bit of a marathon, two plays lasting 2hours 20 minutes each. I must say that they had done the books justice, highly recommended.
But then DH and I had a big row over him not listening to me, we were meeting twice and both times he got the place wrong because he hadn't listened. We made up in bed though (no, not like that) I find it very hard to sulk and always forget I've resolved not to talk to him.
I need to pack because we're going to Yorkshire tomorrow, we've got more visitors coming but I've told DH I'm not going to cook all the time, I was shattered after Easter week.0 -
Hilstep ((((hugs))))) thinking of you and sending positive vibes.

My dd has been released from hospital but my dgs is still on neonatal, they are just a bit concerned with his milk intake as he keeps being sick all the time.

Afternoon all,
(((Big hugs))) to Hilstep and Candlelight.
Not got much to say today. The wind has really picked up and the cloud is thickening but still no rain yet. DH and I are going to Aldi tonight as we are thinking about going to the caravan tomorrow. Still unsure whether to trust DS2 after the 'gathering' he had at Easter. I'm all for second chances, just a bit wary as this is MY home.
Not sure what to have for dinner, will have to go and rummage in the freezer!
