Multi-bike policies

Thanks all. I have got a good quote from Bennetts for the two bikes, which is all I need really. I had a NU rider policy for many years, and it was brilliant knowing you could ride any bike up to XX cc and be covered. I guess that kind of thing was too good to last, though.
I have a follow-up query, but I will do it in a separate post as it's more general.
Thanks for the inputs. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
I worked for a large broker when the NU Rider policy was scrapped and we had to contact policyholders as their policies came to an end and quote them on the new multi bike policy. One old boy had a collection of bike that was worth about £200k stored in a barn. All, up to that point, covered on one unlimited cc rider policy that cost him about £100 a year. He wasn't happy to be quoted for about 6 new policies.0

The Rider policy was a great deal - perhaps too good. I loved having an unlimited policy and being able to jump on any bike I wanted to.
I have managed to get a 2-bike policy from Bennetts for £130 fully comp for both bikes. Two separate policies from Devitt, one FC and one TPFT, were about £220 together. Cancelling the Devitt policies early cost me about £50 in all, so I am still ahead, and have better cover.
I know that cancelling like this is not very MSE, but when the policies fall due 6 months apart, there is no good time to change. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0
