You spoke to the wrong person at Morrisons , go for the store manager only not the customer service people at the desk or an assistant manager. If you get no joy from them then complain to the Morrisons head office via email.
Unfortunately I rarely shop at Morrisons, just when I am visiting friends.

I did ask for the store manager, and as far as I know it was him who came over.

I only have till the 6th to deal with this before the fine goes up. I am thinking of going through the mentioned website because this is stressing me out, and I am afraid of not doing a good enough appeal

Yeah, although it feels far more like a fine seeing as it is so onerous.

    1) I spoke to Morrisons but because I didn't have any receipts and that the parking time was far longer than the shopping time, that they wouldn't refund it.

    2) So do parkingticketappeals ever end up paying the invoice, and I presume I won't have to even though I am the registered keeper.

    1) and their CEO replied in writing and refused ? I doubt it

    2) you can read what they say on the appeals website here http://www.parkingticketappeals.org.uk/how-it-works/

I am sure of their integrity in this , as they are 2 of the long term members here helping to fight these shysters

chances are that they have never lost one , so the guarantee may never have been invoked ;)

Hi, I did not say that I had written to their CEO. If it takes 5 days to deliver a letter, I cannot know his answer until the £40 has kicked in.

As I said in my first post. I payed the initial fine. I tried to complain to who I was told was the store manager, but that was after paying it.

It is this second PCN I want to get rid of

get the appeal in , then complain to morrissons or the landowner about both tickets , dont dwell on the unfairness of it all and lose sight of the ball, we all know its unfair which is why we help out on here
Hi, thanks, when you say don't dwell on the unfairness, do you mean personally or in my complaint about the PCN?

I mean stop beating yourself up with a half empty cup and shaking your head about the unfairness of it all , its happening thousands of times a week to people like ourselves , usually to ones who dont understand it like yourself

you wise up and dont get mad , get even (that is what I did last summer in 2013)

in this case concentrate on getting this second one appealed , by yourself or pay the appeals people , your choice

then contact the CEO and put both complaints to him

the info is all here if you looked for it (you havent so I will do so this time)

if you had read the newbies thread here

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822

you would have clicked this link here

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4766249

and found this morrissons ceo thread here

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4774859

the email for them is in that thread, plus all kinds of explanations and even templates by lazydaisy (a retired solicitor) on page 2 post #34

even morrissons customer services said it was a FINE , showing they have no idea either :)

you would also note the date is last year showing this happens a lot and goes back a year or almost two yeras now (since pofa 2012) , even before that if they knew the drivers details

so if you want a good rant , and a refund , get a shift on to appealing the second ticket AND to a pair of complaints about both tickets to the CEO , also complaining that the store manager did nothing about them !!!

too many people dont complain , and yet complaining also helps focus their minds on these issues they have created due to enrolling a parking company like PE

if you dont ask , you dont get !! period

Just send the appeal in the sticky thread by coupon mad, the appeal wording above is one of my old ones and it has been superceded by coupons one. Send via their website and the post through the post office with a free proof of postage.

Don't just rely on your complaint to morrisons because as you can see they can be obstructive and quite frankly unhelpful to their customers. And regardless of how much spent you are a customer, make a complaint about the manager you spoke to also if you wish.

But don't forget to appeal to parking eye
