An Old Barclaycard Customer

Hi,


I've had my card for longer than I can remember and I don't know if I had PPI on the card.

So, for old card was there PPI automatically included , I have no idea.

    It will show on your statements if you have it.

    No, I don't think I do, So It was not standard to have PPI on the cards.

    No, I have had a BC since 1984 and never had PPI.

    PPI has never been automatically included. You have to had applied for it. With credit cards any PPI charged would be itemised separately on every single statement where there was a balance outstanding, so if its not there you don't have it. Also, even if you opted for PPI when obtaining the card it would not have been charged if you were sensible and paid the card off in full each month.
