PCN, wrongful ticket (I think) and wrong colour

Hi

I received my first PCN today, thankfully I got there just as the recovery truck had come!

Firstly, I don't think I was parked illegally, secondly the colour of my car is wrong on the PCN (01 Contravention)

I should have really taken a pic as to where I was parked but I'll have to explain it as best as possible.

I was parked in front of several concrete blocks which blocked the entrance to a road, as there were some buildings cordoned off further down, like this, but the concrete blocks were further down, like towards the end of the white lines.

The front and back of my car were both at least 1m from the double yellow lines, and the dropped kerbs on either side were totally unblocked. Like the following street, but the yellow lines were not as far down, and my car parked vertically towards the left on that pic.

Secondly, my car colour was labelled as metallic whereas it is light blue, like search?q=metallic+blue+car&rlz=1C1KMZB_enGB528GB528&es_sm=122&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=XY58U7aDD6Se7AadwYDACA&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1536&bih=764#q=ford+fiesta+finesse+blue&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=MRQECvrZqTtn_M%253A%3BuUlEKdSk4TXJ8M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fimages.wainwrightmotorcompany.co.uk%252Fvehicles%252Fford-fiesta-hatchback-1-25-finesse-3dr-552fc5db821902e63b9c0a68998a6c5d-640x480.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.wainwrightmotorcompany.co.uk%252Fused-cars%252Fford-fiesta-1-25-finesse-3dr-chesterfield-201404113254247%3B640%3B480

It was the actual driver of the recovery truck who sneakily told me to definitely dispute it as the CEO just wrote metallic.

Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: I've added links as pics do not work.

The wrong colour won't make this invalid but as this was a PENALTY Charge Notice you would be better posting on

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/

who have more experience in helping with appeals against Council Penalty Charges. There is a forum for council issued tickets

Take photos of both sides of the PCN (blank out any identifying details), host the photos on something like photobucket or tinypics and include the links when you create your own thread.
