I've been searching for weeks and found nothing cheap enough. Very limited budget so I might just have to swallow and stay in the UK :-(

I'd appreciate any advice and help with this. I fear you may need to be a magician to conjure up something for me.

Don't know if this is of any help to you but my daughter aged 35 and myself have managed to get a 2 bedroom apartment in Palmera Beach, Costa Blanca and flights from Glasgow for 10 days for just less than £500. Try findmearoom.com and travelsupermarket for the flights.

Hello, my girlfriend and I are looking to travel to Cape Town in February of next year, the cheapest flights I have found online so far have been £548 per person with KLM. We are not worried where we fly from or what time of day, and we'd be looking to go for two weeks. Dates we looked at were between 2nd and 16th but we are reasonably flexible on this. If anyone could beat this price that would be great; if I need to provide any more detail then please let me know.

No Agent will reply/help on this thread. It's just a repeat of 'want a quote on something specific'. The title 'beat my holiday quote is COMPLETELY wrong as there are hardly any posts on here saying 'i have this price-can you beat it' it's all speculative requests.

No Agent in this busy period will answer which means that MSE posters could be missing out on fully protected ATOL deals.

I've PM'D Martin to ask for a separate thread which truly is 'beat my holiday quote'. If an agent sees someone has a price & they are ready to BOOK striaght away-then they'll post-because it will be a 5/10 minute job to see if they can better it. What will NOT take 5 minutes is the posts on here-there is no indication people are ready to book straight away...bits of info such as durations/are night flights ok are not shown on many posts-no Agent has the time to post/ask this.

No be honest Chris and i dont say this often lol but i have to agree with you and that this thread is going nowhere.
The thing is to beat a quote travel agents along with non travel agents need to see what others have already quoted or they could be wasting valuable time going over the same ground.
There have also been a spate of agents on here in the past few days who are just coming on to post on this thread touting for business,instead of reading the rules and abiding by them.
I love helping other members out but im afraid its getting to the point where i cant be bothered anymore on this thread as its a nightmare to get around and seems alot more work than other threads we have had in the past and it doesnt help when members dont come back to say they have booked etc
Its a shame really as alot of members like to help out with quotes and members like to see what others have been quoted so they have rough ideas of what holidays are costing at specific times of the year.

Any specific requirements? We want to upgrade the flight to first class too or whatever is that airlines alternative(ie star plus class in First choice.) We also want to go for just 7 nights but it doesnt matter about flying over night so adding an extra day travelling. Just want 7 nights on resort!!

Agree-if me/another Agent tried to help on here it'd be a complete waste of time...& I hate to say it at this time of year time is money!

If it's a straightforward 'can you beat £xxxxxx'-then fine-I'll have a crack at it because a)-you're pretty much 100% sure they want to book (this would need to be highlighted at top of any new thread-must be ready to book striagt away/same day)...then they can compare my ATOL quotes against all others-completely fair I say.
