Tiling

Wotcha MSEF peeps.

I've got a tiler in at the moment who's doing our bathroom (subbie from the bathroom fitter who we've engaged to sort it out).

On Monday he skim coated the walls including a fairly major skim coat on the outside wall. Today I got back to find he's tiled over the skim coat including a large area which wasn't properly dry.

How big an issue is this likely to be?

As far as I am concerned you don't tile at all over wet plaster, you give it as long as you can to dry but at least till it goes light pink...

A tad concerned.

Any thoughts?

It doesn't seem to bother them when they do it on the "DIY SOS" tv programme.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Shouldn't be done. None of the big adhesive manufactors would warranty this. Most stipulate dry and then primed before adhesive applied
