Cost of getting dry wall built?

Hi all. I am looking at moving, and have just seen a house what could be my dream home, except for the small kitchen........
My question is, can anyone give a a very rough estimate of what I should expect to pay for a builder to demolish the existing dry wall and build a new one.
it would be about 3.6 metres wide, and about 2.3 metres high.
Obviously you can't tell me exactly what it should cost, just a very rough estimate would be very helpful.
Thanks for any input you can offer.

It all depends. If the wall is a load bearing wall then you'll need an RSJ installed which will require a structural engineer to calculate. Get three builders in and get three quotes and compare them :)

Thanks for your reply. I don't think it is load bearing as it is just a dry wall seperating the kitchen from the living room.

Without sticking a screwdriver through it to see if it's a void or a wall you can't tell. Th wall between my livingroom and kitchen looks like a stud wall bu there's breezeblocks in the middle of it.

There is a serving hatch already, and there is no breeze block, just platerboard.
any ideas on how much I should expect to pay as I want to factor it in to my offer,

To be honest I don't have a clue. It's something I would undertake myself if it's not a supporting wall so have no idea of costings for a tradesman. I wouldn't have thought more than £1000 though.
