Anyone tried to return item to ShowroomPrive?

Has anyone had difficulty returning orders to ShowroomPrive, specifically owing to the parcel company stating the address isn't valid?

Yodel has just returned my parcel, claiming it didn't contain a name or address of the recipient, inspite the address below showing Yodel was the intended recipient. They refused to accept their own parcel. ShowroomPrive's return address suggests that Yodel and ShowroomPrive have a contract to manage the company's returns, though Yodel appears to disagree. I've contacted Yodel and they confirm they do offer this kind of service, but weren't forthcoming about whether Showroom was a company they worked for.

YODEL (Showroom Priv! returns),
Wednesbury,
Central Sort Centre,
Owen Road,
Willenhall,
West Midlands,
WV13 2PZ.

Anyone know what's going on or have an alternative address for ShowroomPrive.co.uk?

I don't want to lose my money.

You may have difficulty with that website because it is French. You need to refer to that country's version of the Distance Selling Regulations which may be different to the UK's. This website may be able to help you:

    http://vosdroits.service-public.fr/particuliers/F10415.xhtml

If like me you don't understand French, use Google Translate.

    https://translate.google.com/

As regards the address, the website has been registered by a non-trading individual which is obviously a complete lie.

    http://whois.domaintools.com/showroomprive.co.uk

However there is an address on the Domain Registration for the .com version of the website.

    http://whois.domaintools.com/showroomprive.com

I suggest you write to them via that address. There's also a phone number so you could ring them but you might have problems if you can't speak French.

Edit: I was typing this out while Sooler was replying to you so the information she has given will probably be more relevant. You'll be wisest to contact the Droitwich address first.

I now have 3 possible addresses.

I can find the first address (mine in OP), in two ways:
    - Help and Contact > Returns and Refunds > How do I return an item
    - "Return an item" below each order
This is why I used this address, as it was given twice as the official one for returns.

    Sooler's address:
    - used to be "Terms and Conditions" (bottom of each page) > go up to "Money back guarantee"
This section has been removed and I can only access it via Sooler's direct link.

    Third address:
    - "Terms and Conditions" again > "10. Returns and Cancellations"

    SHOWROOMPRIVE C/O KEYMAIL UK LTD
    UNIT 12 SAXON WAY
    TRADING ESTATE
    WEST DRAYTON
    MIDDLESEX
    UB7 0LW
    UK

I'll try this third address and, if it helps anyone in the future, I'll update as to whether I was successful. My emails go unanswered - it's a slippery company.
  • Just to share some info.

The address I used is the one with Keymail in Middlesex. I posted via "Sign for" and got a confirmation. After several attempts, in the end I got the email address for their UK customer service:

    customerservice.return@showroomprive.com

Their auto-reply claims the responding time could be 96 working hours...basically 12 working days.

After all the requirements were fulfilled, they replied saying they would fully refund me for the returned order - I returned all the items, therefore postage would be refunded as well. It would be effective in 5 days.

I have dealt with this company in France, not much problem in terms of reaching their customer service. I think they just haven't prepared to support a good set-up in the UK, but it is a legitimate company.

    Hope this helps.
