Good luck Jack,
I have been retired for 17 years, it was the best decision I (was forced) made.
The first few months will be strange but soon you will realise that you have no time left in the day to work! There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
Thanks for the encouragement.......got lots of DIY to do, and will possibly do ( Sssshh ) cash in hand work.... although quite daunting, the thought of FREEDOM is very exciting........Jack.:j:j:j:jRetired (Early) April 20150

Yes, I'm sure she would......seriously though, if boredom kicks in, or if financial cramp sets in, I shall take a part time position, legitimately of course.....although I am sure that we will be O.K on both counts........Jack.Retired (Early) April 20150

Cash in hand......is that supposed to be funny! There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0

No, not meant to be funny at all......I have been approached by several people, with offers of ''cash in hand'' work......if I decide to accept, it will all be done correctly, and will be declared.....I also believe in doing ''the right thing''.............Jack.Retired (Early) April 20150
