today (29-5-14), i have received a reply from PE containing a POPLA code?
4 weeks and 3 days from the date of incident (28-4-14) and 3 weeks and 6 days from date of issue of PC (2-5-14), i sent appeal letter on 9-5-14, received a reply dated 15-5-14 with no POPLA code, then i emailed them on 20-5-14 asking for a POPLA code then emailed again demanding a POPLA code on 23-5-14, saying i will be writing an email to BPA and hey presto today a letter dated 27-5-14, stating my appeal has been unsuccessful and including a POPLA code, just wondering if there are any dates that are over on their behalf that i should state in the POPLA appeal and is it best to do the appeal to POPLA by letter or email?

    thanks in advance damo.666

just find the typical PE popla appeals from the examples linked in the newbies thread

you cannot send an appeal to popla by email so forget that idea completely

its online or by post , or both (lazydaisy suggest both)

Be aware, however, that the online form appears to have a maximum number of words and has been known to cut off the end if it goes over.

I would just check your appeal again as it is pretty long and see if you can trim some excess padding from it.

Also make sure your points are summarised at the front

    1. No GPEOL
    2. No Standing

    etc

And put the section headings in bold so they stand out. Assessors have missed points before.

or do as lazydaisy advises and put "see appeal attached - with bullet points only" and attach the appeal online , also sending by post so a double whammy (she should know , lol)

The dates are fine - they've don't nothing wrong on that front so nothing needs adding to your POPLA appeal about all this. So now just use a PE template POPLA appeal plucked from the hyperlink 'How to win at POPLA' in post #5 of the NEWBIES sticky thread.

Great news - please can you add your success to the 'POPLA Decisions' sticky thread for our winning stats? It's a thread in Crabman's 'forum stickies third form the top.
