30th birthday present ideas - HELP!!

SO one of my close friends is turning 30 next month, she is currently pregnant so is going to be having a BBQ at her house to celebrate. I want to get her a really lovely gift but have no idea what to get?

I was possibly thinking of a hamper filled with goodies, either home made or shop brought, budget is pretty tight though so the cheaper the better. Any ideas of what I can either make or find for cheap to go in it?

Or if you have an even better idea please let me know

Thank you!!

What about some vouchers for baby sitting, 1 night/day for every year you've been friends.

I like the idea of baby sitting vouchers!

She is very crafty - she has a small business doing all sorts, wedding invites, drift wood, posters and prints etc

I would quite like the budget to be no more than £30 -£40

    Thank you

What about making her a pamper hamper? Include some baby sitting vouchers (great idea btw Poppy9) a bottle of wine (or substitute for other favourite drink) nice box of chocs, you can make stuff like bath salts pretty cheaply. I made these ones for my mum at christmas.
  • i also like the idea of baby sitting voucher. And along with you can give a Birthday card, chocolate box, flower bouquets.

Could you combine your babysitting vouchers with cinema /theatre etc vouchers for a night out for 2 type of idea, or alternatively a night in well chosen dvd, wine nibbles etc. Or maybe combine the baby sitting voucher with a voucher for a massage or beauty treatment if she likes that sort of thing as an escape idea type of present. The pamper hamper is a nice idea you could include a book or magazine, nice smellies, bath puff, bath gloves, wine, etc. Bath bombs are easy to make loads of recipes online. If she is crafty some lovely crafty bits she wouldn't buy herself......Meal out might also combine well with the babysitting vouchers. Cheap introductory session for a craft she hasn't tried before? Sorry on tablet so wobbly typing.
