I want to put my user ID on photos

Is it easy to put my user ID on my photos on ebay? Another person is selling the same item as me, but mine is a better picture. I want to make sure that it's not easy for him to copy my pics, and that if he did, people would know what he'd done, and hopefully look up my items as well. I'm a bit of a computer dunce, so if it's too difficult I won't be able to get my head around it I guess!

If you open the picture up in PAINT you will be able to add text (whatever colour you want) to it.
Just play around with the tools and see what result you get.
Don't forget, it will always ask you if you want to save the changes.
If you muck up and dont know how to put it back the way it was.....just click NO

Can you tell me how to do the see-through watermark lettering that you see sometimes? You will need to explain it as if talking to a small child, yes, really!

Hi again,

I don't think it can be done with paint as I've tried it myself.
You need another package . Somthing like paint shop pro.
However, if you click on add text there are two coloured boxes below the tools, this will let you add the text without a white background...unless you knew that already.
