Eon rep Eon tariff ending on 29th June

My present Eon tariff ends on 29th June 2014 (Warm Assist) and unless I do anything I will be put on Eon's Energy Plan from 30th June.

However Eon's Energy Fixed 1 year is cheaper.

When should I change my tariff online, wait until 29th June or change it now with a start date of 30th June?

If I change it now and there is a decrease in price, highly unlikely but you never know, will I be able to change to the lower price without any penalty charge.

I might be on holiday then and not near a computer so that is why I need to know.

There's no exit fees or charges for changing tariff.

The exit fee on our Fixed 1 year plan won't apply if you move to another E.ON tariff. The fee only kicks in if you were to change supplier and the switch completed before the end of the contracted period.

As above there's no exit fee's - if it's cheapest just switch now

But it's not cheaper, it's almost 34% more expensive than the tariff I have at the moment.

You can stay on Warm Assist right up to the last minute and switch on 30 June 14.

If you've registered with our website, this can be done in advance by forward planning a switch to another of our tariffs online. You can do this up to 52 days ahead.

So, if on holiday, you can go away, put your feet up and let the technology do the work.
