Hi
Has anyone used Astute Finance to claim PPI?
I started a few claims with them over 2 years ago and I am still waiting on Financial Services Compensation Schemes final results. The last time I received any correspondence from someone who works at Astute Finance was the 20th Nov 2013.
It has obviously been a while so I decided to try an get in touch with them and all emails bounce back and their telephone numbers are dead. Has this company ceased and does anyone have any ideas on what to do now?

There's nothing I can find that offically says they are.
If you are waiting for the FSCS, inform them you'll be dealing with your complaint form now on, and when/if you are successful, save a portion of the redress to pay them in case they aren't.
Keep checking the net for info about them though.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
It isn't in the list of regulated MoJ companies.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

I have been dealing with Astutefinance for a while now and have gone to contact them to find that all numbers are discontinued.
I don't know if they have used my claim to defraud money.
Has anyone else had problems with them, and what should I do next.0 -

However, all websites seem to be down.
I suggest you e-mail consumer@claimsregulation.gov.uk
Send a letter to

Informing them that you have tried on (dates) to contact them but had no response. Therefore if you do not hear from them within 14 days from the date of your letter you will assume that they have discontinued acting for you and that no fee is payable either for services to date or in the event of any future redress being awarded to you.
Keep a copy of the letter, send it by post with proof of posting (free from the Post Office) and keep that proof with your copy of the letter.
Then write to all institutions you complaining to yourself and tell them you are taking over and would like copies of all correspondence with Astute Finance please.0 -

Hi,
Astute Finance have been taken over by a company called Writefully Yours, I had the same problem. their email is astutefinance@writefullyyours.co.uk0 -
I have been waiting patiently for 12 months and then received a letter from Astute in June informing me that Ombudsman service has reached an agreement with the bank and that within the next 8 weeks the bank would submit their calculation on the compensation owed.
Today I received a letter stating the ‘Writefully Yours’ has acquired ‘Astute Finance’ as of the 24th December 2013, (as the same address as Astute), but with a different contact number. 0800 093 3569.0
