I entered a car park controlled by PE and couldn't find a free space to park, I waited approx 30 mins but still no spaces so left. Have been sent a PCN as they photographed my car entering and leaving although no images of the car actually in the car parking area - do I have a fair reason for not paying?
Also have been looking at a website called Parking Ticket Appeals, are they bona fide and worth using.
Thanks for any advice.

PTA definitely bona fide and is run by two very experienced and trustworthy regulars from this forum. They will take the hassle away from you and guarantee your charge is cancelled, or they'll pick up the tab. Obviously there is a charge for the service.
Alternatively, you can do this yourself if you're inclined. Start by reading the NEWBIES sticky at the top of the forum index. We will provide help along the way with any part you're not sure about. By doing it yourself, you will learn much more about the private parking 'industry' and will put you in good stead should you (or any friends/relatives) be faced with a private parking charge in the future.
Whichever route you choose, there's every prospect of getting rid of this parking charge. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Just read the NEWBIES sticky and decide if you want to send the simple 2 stage appeal or if you want PTA to do it for you. Either is good!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
