Claiming mis sold Mortgage PPI - Countrywide Insurance Services

Hi, We had mortgage protection from Countrywide Insurance that we "had" to have when we took out our mortgage, This was arranged through the person at the Estate Agents who arranged our mortgage too, last year we found out it would only pay £100 per month if we needed to claim, which we were not told at the time, and have no letters from the time (2007), saying that, Can we claim, is it worth it ? Could anyone help please? Our mortgage is with another provider.

Thanks

    What are you mis-sale reasons?

The verbal allegation is unprovable and many mortgage brokers do require you to purchase insurance via them to get free mortgage advice. That business model is allowed. They only have to ensure that the insurance is suitable.

With most MPPi complaints failing and most adviser complaints failing, the odds of success are low unless you have a decent complaint reason. So, we really need to know the complaint reasons other than the one you have given which is weak and may well not be a valid reason.
