Bricks for a chimney

My house is from the late 1890s any idea about what type of bricks to buy for the chimney?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    The bricks are to extend the height of the chimney for our loft conversion.

    Wouldn't the builder be the best person to ask?

    He will be able to look at the chimney and see what's best.

    Your builder should be able to match them fairly easily at the local builders merchants. Something like a clamp brick depending on what your existing bricks look like would be fine.
